How long is a session?
Sessions are generally 50 minutes per session.
It is possible to schedule a session for 100 minutes (double session) should we need extra time.
*Couple, family therapy or family dyad sessions begin only when everyone is present.
Are the sessions offered in which language(s) and do you work with clients of all ages?
Noriko offers sessions in English and/or Japanese.
Yes, Noriko works with individuals with all ages; children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, as in one-on-one, couple, or family setting from diverse communities, irrespective of their cultural, religious, gender, sexual identity by providing a non-judgemental safe space.
Can I just receive counselling without making art
OR
Can I talk and try art therapy when I need?
YES. Your session can be talking or combined counselling and art therapy. If you need any guidance, art materials will be introduced so that you can be familiarised at your pace to explore them to understand your process and emotions through creative expressions.
Do I need artistic talent to benefit from art therapy?
No at all. Clients are not required to have any art-related experience or talent to benefit from the creative arts therapies. All levels of experience are welcome!

Insurance
Noriko's services may be covered in full or in part by your extended health insurance or employee benefit plan. Though we are happy to help you determine your coverage during the intake process, it is important for you to check with your insurance provider.
Payment
Payment may be made at the beginning or the end of each session in cash, an e-transfer or a cheque made out to Noriko Baba. Please prepare cheques in advance. Receipts are provided at the end of the month or every ten sessions upon request if you request them beforehand.
Is there a reduced rate?
- Sliding scale rates are also offered for individuals who may be financially limited. Please consult when you contact me.
- For those who are in need of an initial phone consultation, 20-minute free phone intake is available upon request.
